Core Processes
Following on from the strategic planning, site survey/ audits and associated core process are fundamental to the success of any rebranding / signage project.
Site Survey/Audits
Full detailed site surveys will be performed for each site. The surveys will address all on-site signage in order to quantify existing and new signage requirements . We also review and develop an effective scope of works for each site.
Site surveys will include the following information:
- Basic site information (site number, site name, address, etc…)
- Site plan showing building, existing sign locations, photo locations, parking lots, roadways, approximate frontage dimensions, traffic flow, and adjacent streets with names
- List of existing signs
- Dimensions of existing signs obtained from ground level
- Description and assessment of each existing sign including material, size, illumination, general condition
- Exterior dimensions of building
- Overall property photos showing property and relationship to adjacent features
- Photos of all applicable existing signs
- Photos of each building elevation
Site Specific Recommendation
Based on the strategy created by the appointed design agency and the completed Site Survey / Audits, we prepare visual site-specific recommendations for each site. Site-specific issues such as "signable" area, site lines, property dimensions, codes allowances, visibility, etc. are to be taken into consideration when preparing recommendations. New sign recommendations will be based on design guidelines, landlord criteria, code allowances, and site analysis.
